Eh, I see your point. I don't agree with judging a players/coaches greatness by the amount of rings (hence the Horry argument) but so many use that as the ultimate statistic.

Really depends on the team I have. Hubbie might be a better teacher for a young growing team but Phil has proven over and over and over that he can get it done with talent.

Only what bets on someone with no NBA titles over someone with eleven. Good job.

If you want a legit discussion then why not have Pops or Larry Brown than PJ then? LOL this is ridiculous like asking if you'd rather have Kevin Durant or Rudy Gay who'll soon be on Durant's level.

PJ is also a good teacher, Kobe, Bynum, Pippen and the rest of the Jordannaires developed under him.

I thought it was Larry Brown, not Hubie Brown.

That's actually why I dislike Hubie as a commentator, he spits out stats that anyone can look up and it makes up 85% of his commentary.

I think Hubie is a smart guy and there's more to him than just his coaching record but come on...you cannot compare a guy with a 424-495 record and one playoff win per season coached to Phil Jackson.

I've always found Phil overrated, but only in the sense that he's not the obvious best coach of all time like some people say. He clearly belongs on coaching's Mount Rushmore with Pop, Riley and Auerbach.
