Cassell could have had a much better career than he had. Still a baller tho, I just wish he was utilized better by his coaches over the years.

 

Sam was great, but they still lost the game. I'm not sure how you can say he destroyed anyone.

 

If Sam Cassell was a point guard, then how come there aren't any videos of him passing??

 

i remember when francis gave up his starting spot in the allstar game to cassell that season.

I still remember watching Hakeem destroying the Nuggets while scoring 51. We lost.

 

I loved sam. New how to play the game and took what defenses gave him. His stats were pretty good also.

I saw Sam Cassell at Yard House once. Told him he was my favorite Rockets player as a kid and asked him for a picture...he told me eff off.

 

I hear he and Baron Davis still hang out at in-n-out.

Those numbers he had in his 30s were damn impressive. Should have been a rocket for life, along with the fresh prince of alabama
