Yep, should be a shootout. Hell of a game to kick off the season.

Clemson is the most intriguing team in America, IMO. They have a high-powered offense stacked with NFL talent, and a young, explosive D led by Stoops' former righthand man, Brent Venables. We'll be hearing a lot of Boyd-to-Watkins this fall. If they get by UGA at home, it should be smooth sailing until their annual bloodbath with SCar. I wouldn't be surprised to see Clemson playing for the crystal ball in January.

Also interested in UT and the Mack saga, A&M and the return of Manziel, life after Chip at Oregon, and the rest of the SEC, especially Alabama, UF, and LSU. OSU will be grossly overrated, as usual. ESPN will be slobbering all over Braxton Miller and Urban after every 17-13 snoozefest W over the likes of Indiana, Northwestern, etc.

My early MNC prediction: Alabama vs. Clemson.

Unfortunately, people have said similar things about Clemson regularly it seems like the past 20 years. They always have promise and yet fizzle out in dramatic fashion. I like Boyd and love Watkins, but the Clemson curse will strike again.

As for teams, I'm pretty much in line with jdh008 (except replace alma maters: UT)

I forgot about that game. Should be a good one.

Aaron Murray is now officially one of those players that seems to have been in school for ten years.

Clemson, Oregon, Louisville, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Ohio State plus the SEC and Big Ten in general.

Always pull for Georgia but I'm tired of them disappointing each and every year.

Two schools I want to check out due to their QB prospects:

    Louisville - Terry Bridgewater

    Fresno State - Derek Carr

You can have your Clemson vs Georgia to start off the season and I'll take TCU vs LSU in Cowboys Stadium.

I also am excited to watch South Carolina. I hope Clowney goes for the Heisman, that'd be a great story.

This is the year they turn the corner, as evidenced by their primetime dub over the Dawgs last Saturday (back-to-back vicories over top-10 SEC teams after they beat LSU in ATL last Dec). Dabo Swinney is building something very special in Clemson.
