Oh Really? Rudy T coached the 2000 Olympic team that won the gold. Larry Brown and Tubby Smith were his assistants. The summer before he coached a team of CBA scrubbs to a Bronze in the FIBA World championships. Not sure how you figure he didn't get a gold medal unless you are saying they award them to players only.
Nice article... I know I haven't been on the "Petition Rudy" BS, but you really don't truly appreciate something until its gone...
Awesome article, almost brings tears to your eyes. You know I wish there was a writer that could get a story from Hakeem on this subject, I imagine it would be a great read. Well what am I saying, not just from Dream, but from some of the key players from over the years, Mad Max, Cylde Drexler, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Mario Elie, and Sam Cassel. Well We always wonder if the Rockets are ever reading this site, well, Rudy if you are, We love you, and hope you get well very soon, our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family!
Philadelphia 76ers Coach Larry Brown, Van Gundy said, once told him Rudy T was "the smartest offensive guy I've ever been around" and Van Gundy concurs, citing two examples. "He's brilliant at adjusting a system to his team," Van Gundy said.
Nice article...Hold your head high if you're one of the few fans on here that support the team through ALL adversity... GO ROCKETS!
is is also too bad that Rudy's cancer is likely going to make it more difficult for Les to make the right move, which is to get a new coach.
Great article. Too bad for Rudy, I hope everything works out well with him. I wonder too, how long it will take Les to come up with a new coach, or new coaching staff.
