Hilarious to see the reaction to this signing. A vet minimum 28 year old back up point guard that played in China two years ago and was waived by freaking Sacramento this season. Wheeeeeeeee!

A deal for LMA would probably look something like this:

    Asik, Thaddeus Young to Portland
    Lin to Philly
    LMA to Houston

You people are so damn silly.

I love how everyone thinks every little move has to mean something. People wondering if anyone will have to be cut because Brooks is being re-signed. No, no one will have to be cut. You can have 20 players on your roster in the offseason. Where were you people last year when the Rockets had 20 players under contract all offseason? No, this doesn't mean Lin is being traded. You guys need answers way too fast. Just let it play out.

    Wow 23 pages already.

Brooks is like the sweat-free Jeremy Lin.

Defensively, Lin is better than Lillard. In my opinion, the difference is noteworthy.

Offensively... not close. Lillard is head and shoulders better.

One thing is go sure , Lillard is in a team which plays him through his slumps.
The both are not in the same in the same situation.

I still remember the day we found out he was traded. I worked in the airport (IAH) at the time and saw him come through the checkpoint. He was absolutely crushed, dejected. You could just see it in the way he moved.

I am happy to have him back. Hope he can see some time on the court and make a contribution.

That would be the basic deal but of course there would be more players and picks going to Portland and probably Philly as well.

But please thrill me with your GM acumen and explain which teams would be opposed and why

    Nice pick up.

He's the perfect end of bench guy we need. If Lin or Bev gets hurt, AB can certainly fill in. Plus, I love the way he's showing loyalty to the Rox.

If Morey was willing to trade One Direction for LMA, it would have already happened. I'm sure that Portland wants more than Asik and picks, nor do I blame them. He's an amazing player who's entering his peak years.

Obviously, Morey needs to find a third team or hope that someone on the roster not named Parsons, Howard, or Harden has a breakout year and drastically increases their trade value.

The Spurs had 5 PGs last season in Parker, Neal, Joseph, Mills, & de Colo.
