    I always like listening to people in-the-know talk about the NBA. I would love to see this interview un-cut, see what Dwight really thinks. Also, how the hell did this get out?

    He'd be a great defensive player that could be put against the best opposing wing or PG. Would be a great guy off the bench, but not a starter in my opinion.

    No! he is not. Shump cannot play point guard! He is lacking those skills, but great to play alone Harden.

    IMO, Shump is an underrated, this kid got talents and skills for NBA starter.

    Morey shall get him when timing is right.

    If Shump comes, Lin will be a big part of the recruiting process and Bev will be in jeopardy as Shump is just a better Bev.

    I guess the only question is if Metta expires before Shumpert, one of the few Knicks who has value. Dolan is reportedly upset that Shumpert wasn’t interested in working with the summer league team and wants to trade him. Shumpert, I’ve heard, isn’t too crazy about the moves the Knicks have made, which could further stunt his development. New York Daily News

    If it were Lin for Shumpert straight up I'd do it in a heartbeat and not look back, but I think this was just small talk before the interview started. I thought it was funny with the phones though.

    Apparantly James Dolan wanted to trade Shumpert for not cooperating with playing in the Summer League games.
