Maybe has something to do McHale is garbage? I read a lot of article that McHale will be great at developing BIG. But I look at the 2012-2013 season, which of our big did he developed?
If things don't work out with mchale..how about Hubie Brown? Is he still healthy? He looks more dead than alive but his experience and he has the best technical knowledge in the game when I heard him commentating he explained things very well and in depth.
Hubie Brown is a basketball genius, there is a reason why players around the league look up to him so much. Unfortunately, i do believe age is a primary reason as to why he isn't coaching ATM. Hearing Hubie break down the game on national television really is a delight, though.
to be fair, Asik doesn't have the natural talent or athleticism to be much of an offensive threat. He is a smart defensive big who can finish at the rim. This is where his bread is buttered.
