Will Steve and Cuttino be able to become what Rudy wants? They don't have to be the best guards in the league, but they do have to be able to make the system capable of winning against any team in the NBA. That means creating shots for teammates and playing good all around games (offense and defense). I think they have it in them.
Offensively they at least have the skills to be among the best. Defensively is a big question mark. Neither one is by any means a stopper, and in fact I ould rate both below average defensively. But they have the skills to be a great combo. Hopefully they can capitalize on that and work on their defensive games.
