lol what a bunch of homers. George can't create his own shot?? did they watch the ECF with LeBron draped all over him he created plenty. Of course Harden is still the superior offensive player, but George brings it on D.

Even as a Knick fan, I must admit I'll take George over Melo because while Melo is better at getting his own shot off....George is committed on both ends.

There's no question Hibbert's offensive moves are superior to Dwight. He just lacks the defense and athleticism.

Indy's guys lack the star power, if they were in a big market they'd both be blown up. Houston's duo is more talented....as of late though George and HIbbert have been more productive.

Harden and Dwight. Anyone who says anything else might be seriously mentally ill. There's a reason championship expectations are being put on us now. Nobody expects **** out of Paul George and Hibbert.

OP, are you sure you're making the right comparison? Surely you actually meant Harden+Asik vs. George+Hibbert, right?

Indiana with George/Hibbert won 49 games in the East.
Houston with Harden/Asik won 45 games in the West.

Indiana's other starters were West, Stephenson, and Hill.
Houston's other starters were Patterson/Morris/DMo/Jones/Smith, Parsons, and Lin.
Advantage Pacers mainly due to David West being awesome. Neither team had a significant bench.

So if Hibbert and George had a better surrounding cast while playing in an inferior conference, and only won 4 more games than the Rockets with Harden/Asik, why should even be considered in the same ballpark as Harden/Howard?

Bunch of homers? Harden tore up Miami when they played last year. George had some great plays and a few good games, but he had some pretty bad games as well.

Not saying I wouldn't want harden and Howard but I'm not sure everyone remembers how Paul George guarded Lebron and played well on the offensive end. Two completely different players IMO.

    This is George and Hibbert..

George shuts down Harden every time.. plays both sides of the ball and Hibbert ACTUALLY has a post up game.

How did Harden fair against George last year?

George plays both sides of the basketball floor.. HArden doesn't.

And George is much more versatile defensively... rebounds better.

Roy Hibert has better post games than Dwight Howard. Howard's low post game is too one dimensional, he relies too much on his athleticism and lacks foot work. Let's see his progress this coming year under Hakeem.
