History tells us that once you prove yourself as a Houston Rockets PG, your dates in Houston is numbered. Just look at Kenny Smith, Sam Cassell, Mike James, Kyle Lowry, Goran Dragic. I think Lin loves Houston so much, he will stay unproven and so Rockets can't trade him LOL

Either prove you're a worthy backup Small Forward for a contending team, or be a trade-able 3 million dollar contract.

I watched nearly ever Rocket's game this past season, and Jeremy has already proven he is a great PG. This is NOT a do-or-die season. And Linsanity was not a fluke. The kid can flat-out ball and improved greatly during his first full season.

The problem, Lin has one poor game in his first ever NBA playoff experience and LOH want to dominate the discussion. Judge Lin on his body of work, not one game in the playoffs.

 

He plays better than stevie franchise and matt maloney

why do people keep posting nonsense about the the contract being unmovable? Did people not see GOlden State turn Richard Jefferson and Biderins for Iguodala? Teams always want expiring contracts to clear cap space.

That said, it's year after this that actually matters. He's getting paid 5 mill this year so there's nothing he can even do this year to make him worth the 15 mill next year.

Right now it's still a bargain.
