Its worth giving it a shot to see how it works out. You can always make a trade at the trade deadline. Not sure I would want to see Asik + Dwight on the floor on the same time though. However, you do need to give Asik minutes. If Lin improves his 3 point shot which he is working on he should be fine as PG.

I don't understand why lin hasn't tweeted anything.

You don't know what goes on behind closed doors...Just because lin did not "tweet" his response does not mean that he did not welcome dwight. Stop overreacting.

James harden wasn't at the presser either probably because he was busy somewhere else, much like jeremy.

Within 24 hours signing on with the Rockets, Dwight Howard will return to Los Angeles. This time, however, will be very different.

Howard will be joining a group of Rockets players for workouts together in Los Angeles.

“I’m leaving for LA (Sunday),” Howard said. “A couple of those guys are flying with me. I’m looking forward to it. It’s a chance to learn each other, learn each other’s game, just have a feel for what we want to do as a team. The guys are excited, very excited.”

In addition to the players in Houston, Chandler Parsons and Patrick Beverley, Howard said he had received congratulatory messages or calls from James Harden and Jeremy Lin. Both will be a part of the workouts in Los Angeles.

“Me and James organized it,” Parsons said. “It was actually initially going to be in Orlando. I was hoping to keep some of the young guys there after summer league since they were already here. Once Dwight came, J Lin is out there already. Omri (Casspi) is coming out there. Terrence Jones, Greg Smith, Isaiah (Canaan), so we have a group good of guys. L.A. was more convenient, so I guess I had to travel the longest distance.”

Sounds like something that's made up only in your head, I've never seen this.

Some LOFs do hate on Harden or wish he played "less selfishly" (you can disagree with that if you want), but I've never seen anybody say that Harden is actually sabotaging Lin.

who cares. He probably called or sent Dwight a text and that's good enough. He'll in the LA workouts too. Dude's not exactly a fan of always being in the public eye.

Reminds me of the Obama birther "scandal".

at this point, there's no need to hurry. as someone else has said in the GARM, i'm in favor of the wait-and-see attitude. we're going to see a new side of Lin now that he's finally going to stay for 2 straight seasons, and i want to see how he does when we got so much talent at each of these spots.

Asik? there's no question he deserves better than a back-up position, but if he stays here, we're legit contenders because we will have a protected paint and rebounds throughout the entire game. we already have an amazing roster, and perhaps he can be persuaded to stay for a 'chip. if not, he gotta post up against D12, 2-3 times during the season, and that's a challenge he should consider as well.

This is what we call, inventing a situation for the amusement of yourself at the behalf of a imagined group of people instead of a few posters that one dislikes.

I think last year was enough, do we really need a 2nd year of the same type of divisive imagined issues. Wouldn't it be more enjoyable to specifically single out the posters whom you have taken issue with?

Still don't understand how he was acting sour if he wasn't even there. This is what we call allowing the imagination to take over with bits and pieces and putting them together into a convoluted hysterical rant to create a non-issue that does not exist outside of one's psyche.

Calm down. If it aint going right, go lift some weights. You'll feel better.
