Link The National Transportation Safety Board apologizes for inaccurate and offensive names that were mistakenly confirmed as those of the pilots of Asiana flight 214, which crashed at San Francisco International Airport on July 6. Earlier today, in response to an inquiry from a media outlet, a summer intern acted outside the scope of his authority when he erroneously confirmed the names of the flight crew on the aircraft. The NTSB does not release or confirm the names of crewmembers or people involved in transportation accidents to the media. We work hard to ensure that only appropriate factual information regarding an investigation is released and deeply regret today's incident. Appropriate actions will be taken to ensure that such a serious error is not repeated.
TV Station Reports on Asiana Airlines Crash...and Just Fails. smh...honestly, even though I'm Asian, it's so bad I actually laughed out loud when I saw the vid.
bah...I checked 3 pages and completely missed basso's thread. please delete thread mods...(and please restore search and edit functions to me, I have tried emailing through the board but gotten no answer)
^^the only thing that could make this funnier if a real pilot named Ho Lee *** sued the NTSB for slander
Whatever. I just find it hilarious that 2 of the girls killed were going to a Christian camp. God's work at His finest LOL
That was... really offensive. And this coming from someone that despises all fosrms of organized religion with a passion .
hahahahaha Sum Ting Wong I mean it's not funny at all that 3 people died, but it's funny that somebody would be stupid enough to read this on the news.
The true scope has not yet been appreciated. If you read the names in order, it actually tells the story of the crash. (twisted) genius.
