Lin for CP3, Irving, Rondo would never occur straight up. I already stated that on this thread bro. I re-iterate that Lin and Asik with draft picks for Rondo might be a possiblity for a rebuilding Brad Stevens team. Lin gets to go to Boston to rebuild a team and can eventually can commit revenge against the Knicks who did not match the offer Lin expected the Knicks to.

Don't blame the Knicks, it was ultimately their choice to match or not.

Their dreams have been getting crushed all Summer long so far. They are desperate now. If Lin doesn't get traded this off-season, he is likely to remain for 2 more years. With the way his poison pill contract is constructed, it gets exponentially more difficult to trade him as time goes by. 15m balloon payment in the final year means by next off-season, only big city financially profitable teams will be able to afford him. Morey, aided by his crew of 20 MIT statisticians have clearly decided Lin is the PG for this team championship run and have gone all in on him.

Looking to see Lin have a great year orchestrating this team under the new system. Especially looking to see how he gels with Dwight and how he feeds him inside.

 

Asik and Howard going at it in practice would do wonders for both their games.

 

So can we also assume they have also gone all in in Tjones or Dmo? No one but superstars are safe with Morey, we all know this. Just because you are here now doesn't mean you will be later. Just because the right trade isn't available now, doesn't mean it won't be later. Believe me this is not about me wanting to move Lin just your assumption that ANYONE is safe with Morey.
