How do you know they weren't serious at the time? We only got Dwight because of Harden and Harden wasn't here when we signed Lin. Lin also got paid in a big way, he knew the risk involved.
Exactly, my point. If that guy was a true Rockets fans, he would have noticed the same exact pattern of behavior by McHale did to Lin last year. And ultimately, Rockets management condoned all disturbing behavior by McHale. The guy arguing with me is clearly picking a fight, not based on truth, but on allegiance to organization. I am a Rocket fan through and through. I gave up on the Knicks last year and I gave up on the Nets once Kidd went to Dallas. I never felt Knicks and Nets management were competent or even passionate about putting the best product on the court for years. I am allowed to criticize management, when they deserve the blame. that is being a passionate and critical fan. Unlike the homer for the Rockets, who get paychecks from the organization, they can not blame management or critique them harshly. I suspect Spiegel is a homer
Lin's birthday is in August. I'm going to assume Lin is in intense Super Saiyan time capsule training where he has no phone or electricity but just a hoop and a net.
Lin is gonna beast next year. Last time he had all these doubters he exploded... the dude knows how to adjust.
Agreed on Lin. He is a big boy, and he should have known what he was getting into. He gets a large part of the blame as well. I'm not blaming Harden. It was McHale decision to make Harden the PG of the team. I suspect McHale has allegiances to organizations other than the Rockets itself. I don't make McHale out be a fool. He knew full well what he was doing to Lin . And the Rockets deserve the sucess for the great players they have. Kudos to Harden, Howard, and Parsons. I am a big Parsons fan by the way. And I am a budinger fan too.
you need to calm down, bro--it's bad karma. Jeremy is grounded and not stressing about this as much as you. He knows he has a job no matter where this NBA journey leads him.
I actually can't wait to see him run the PnR with DH12, who's a rich man's Tyson Chandler (and he ran the PnR with Tyson like clockwork) His turnovers will be down too since Dwight won't be fumbling passes like Asik but instead throwing oops all day. So even though his scoring might dip a little, his assist #'s should go up and TO's down. I think his shooting % will be a little higher as well. I'm excited!
I already know that you dislike Lin no matter what. I don't see you posting on other posts but Lin. And I know your points are vague, innaccurate and intentionally misleading to readers on this blog. Therefore, you are just a silly clown that can not be taken seriously. Come back at me when you analyze lin in a fair and accurate manner. Otherwise, little kid, go back to your basement and play your nerdy COD or NBA 2K13 Online mode for 12 hours a day during recess.
Touche.. i know, I gotta work on my loyalty thing I do admit. I'll try to stay with the Rockets as long as Howard, Asik, Harden, Parsons leads this team to a championship. I did like the Olajuwon teams, but i was a Knicks fan back then unfortunately. = I just got tired of inept management by the Knicks.
He's clearly making a joke. Parson is savvy enough to know not to touch that rumor unless he knew the situation has changed. 100% certainty that Lin is staying now. As cyberx confirmed earlier Lin was indeed shopped but other teams didn't want him.
Once again you prove mine and several others points. We don't hate the player we hate the fans like you. None of my posts are intentionally misleading, statistically inaccurate or hateful in any way. And damn I wish there were basements down here. The garage man cave gets hot in the summer.
