It's indeed ridiculous how people are speculating as if they knew what was going on in Lin's head or know him in real life. Could it possibly be he's just a low key guy that's trying to enjoy the off-season? Chandler's good friends with Lin and he (Chandler) said at the Orlando camp interview that he's been talking to the guys on a daily/every other day basis, so I'm sure they're in contact with each other. Just because they don't share everything they do with each other to the world to the media world doesn't mean they're "iso'ing" Lin. Be patient, you won't have to wait long for your answer (and I'm willing to bet, Jlin7 will be in LA with the rest of the folk )
Right? He needs to travel the same path as the other Houston legends. I always thought that if China would have let Yao hang at Fonde during the off season, it would have benefited everyone involved. I think it would have helped his game grow to play some pickup ball here in America where the game was invented--and in Houston's Fonde--where the ballin gets no better!
Have you met any of these people that you claim to be "snakes" and Harden so you have "character concerns" about. Log off, step outside and relax for a bit it's not that serious. Just basketball.

I'm not so sure about that: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>“<a href="https://twitter.com/_Call_Me_Chen_">@_Call_Me_Chen_</a>: <a href="https://twitter.com/ChandlerParsons">@ChandlerParsons</a> is my boy <a href="https://twitter.com/JLin7">@JLin7</a> stayin in H town” not sure, <a href="https://twitter.com/JLin7">@JLin7</a> u in Houston?</p>— Chandler Parsons (@ChandlerParsons) <a href="https://twitter.com/ChandlerParsons/statuses/355764651511918593">July 12, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Chandler is smart, he's dumping his best friend to go play with the popular guys now.
Well when they signed Jeremy they didn't know they're getting Harden. It's a business and businessmen do what they have to do. In a way Morey made a mistake of sending all his PGs packing and ended up being desperate, signed Jeremy to a contract under the presumption that they'd build the team around him, then signed Harden rendering Jeremy irrelevant, and now stuck with a player that can be really good if given a different role elsewhere. None of this is Jeremy's fault, but of course all the hate is on him.
Chandler playing to the crowd from the media angle. He understands Lin fans want to know publicly what's the deal with him so he's soliciting a response through twitter to appease all the Lin fans. Dat boy Chandler so smart. (Or maybe he really doesn't know if he's showing up )
Does it make it right to make a SG turn into a PG. and let the PG turn into a spot up shooter who only plays less minutes than a full time starter giving minutes up to Toney Douglass, who can not play in the NBA, and Beverley, who is a nice energy guy off the bench but not an NBA calibur PG quite yet? That is All three of those executives lied to Lin's face. And it was Lin's foolishness to ever sign with the rockets to begin with to be quite honest with you. I really like the roster as it is, Parsons, Howard, Harden, Asik is pretty formidable. I don't see Lin being a part of this team once Morey kicks Lin's tail to another team. It's sad, but that the Rocket's way. Backstab Lin seems to be the one the Rockets do well.
Over analysing much? It's not Lin's job to report his every move on twitter LOL. As for where he is, he's been training at Stanford and sometimes crashing random ball games by various fan accounts. There are pics on twitter from as late as yesterday and also an a player from the Beijing Ducks who are training in Stanford for the Chinese nationals said in a interview that he saw him training there yesterday. There problem solved. There havn't been any comments from Lin or much news about what he's doing or what not, but all the sighting of him are either in the gym or guesting in random ball games. I think that alone makes me think higher about him.
Not sure why it's so hard to believe Lin is staying quiet to avoid getting ahead of himself. Seems like a pretty logical reaction in his situation. I'm sure his teammates understand the awkwardness of the situation and that's why they aren't trying to get him excited for this season, at least not now.
But he had absolutely no response to the Howard signing. It's biggest FA signing in Rockets history and Lin, if I thought was a vital cog to the Rockets should have responded on Twitter. I think that There is something else going on in the head of LIn at this point. go to the aforementioned posts above.
Geez man, so basically you dislike our franchise. How can you have any beef with Harden? Whatever. I guess this is what a LOF means then.
This is very very telling. Everyone just assumed that Lin will be at the LA workout but it's clear from this tweet that JLin hasn't been in communication with anyone as of late. JLin mad yo. He's hiding in random gyms and going to random schoolyard pickup games. I don't think his teammates are ISO'ing him but quite the opposite. He's saying "dudes I'll see you in the fall, I need space to work things out". Chandler is probably like, "Yo, don't be like that"... Poor guy. Either he uses this as motivation and fuel himself to get better or it could eat him up.
FWIW....Parsons misinterpreted that tweet question. I think he may have done it on purpose though to avoid answering the real question. The tweeter is asking if Lin will remain a Rocket, not if Lin is hanging out AKA "staying" in Houston right now. Parsons, answered it as if he was asking the latter, that's why he asked Lin if he was here.
Point being, the Rockets should have never offered Lin that contract if they weren't serious about making Lin the PG of the team. Unless Rondo comes in or CP3, i don't see a reason why the Rockets let McHale usurp the PG position. and let Harden run it. Harden is not a PG at all. Yes, Harden is better than Lin in many categories. And that I can respect, Harden is just not a ball handler or a distributor Lin is innately capable of. If Lin goes, I will root for the Success of the Rockets regardless. I will be never fans of Morey, McHale, and Alexander in the near future. But I hope they beat the Heat next year. I hope they win it all next year, with or without Lin.
Ya this Twitter age surprisingly was a game changer. Pretty ridiculous when back in the day the only player news you got was from reading the Chronicle or Post (RIP). Now everyone loves to decipher a simple tweet into 10xxx conspiracy theories.
