Any word on the Jrue Holiday physical?

    Hello folks.

    It's been exactly a week since Dwight agreed to terms with the Rockets. Yet, there still isn't any word on this becoming official. It has taken out the fun and has quite dragged out this process.

    Seems like this is all being held up by Jrue Holiday's physical. Is there any word on this considering we have a lot of insiders who are in the know about stuff like this... Thanks much appreciated

    Well if this jrue holiday trade is a screw up, it means the White trade will be cancelled and we then have to cut all our non-guaranteeds: Beverley, G.Smith, Ohlbrect and Anderson, and also waive and stretch White.

    I guess I don't understand the panic. He is on his honeymoon. Probably will not take a physical while he's there... I certainly wouldn't.

    No word yet, but as of yesterday, the Jrue physical was supposed to happen today ... but everyone is concerned it could be delayed, which pushes everything else (Saturday events) back.

    ^ hahah That's true but aren't there any loopholes around this?

    NBA could just waive the physical, or New Orleans could just waive it etc. I mean, its a little bit insane that its holding up the biggest signing/acquisition in franchise history!

    Why would New Orleans want to waive a physical on a very important trade for them to accomodate us?

    Why is the White trade depending on Jrue? Does the Jrue trade open cap space for Philly or make a TPE or something?

    This is how I feel. He didn't elect to sign with a new team -- he was traded. If I were enjoying my honeymoon, I certainly wouldn't interrupt it to go take a physical to facilitate a transaction between my old job and the new company they transferred me to. Nor would I expect my new company to just trust that I'm healthy so some random THIRD company could get their piece of the deal done.

    Like yeah, I think the Rockets are everything... but the world doesn't revolve around us (unfortunately). LOL.
