Turk for Turk. I'd only do it if we got additional assets (i.e. rights to 15th pick in the recent draft, Henson or Sanders, and filler).

He shoots better than Ryan Anderson (FG% and 3pt%), averages more rebounds, assists, steals, less turnovers in 3 less minutes. He averages 3 less points though and is a slightly worst FT% shooter but still good at ~80%. They're are near identical size. Ersan is probably the better defender. He's 1 year older.

Asik by himself can get you a good player. If Lin and Jones are combined with him,we might potentially get a very good player in return if Jones steps it up.

A team has to want to trade a player for a trade to happen.

I like Ilyasova but I don't the Bucks as a likely trade partner for Asik. Ersan would be nice as our 4 though. A poor man's Kevin Love.

You ppl have no patience here at Clutchfans do yall?
With Asik as a back up the Rockets can get back to the days of greatness. Im sure the Rockets will make mends with him and he will understand that he was to play with superstars to win a ring or 2. On the other hand, in the event that he doesnt see eye to eye with this front office (which I think is unlikely), then we Morey will go ahead and look for trade options..... and i know that he wont trade Asik unless the right situation presents it self. And IMO, heres what D.Morey is going to be looking for......

    1. LOVE OR LMA

    OR

    2. Expiring Vets that can contribute to a championship run + draft picks

If its not any of these option, i just do not see D.Morey taken on salary beyond 2015, especially because everyone knows that Asik is prolly a top 7-9 center in the league and still growing and getting better. SO PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, stop these threads. Asik has value, major value around the league, and Dmorey is not going to trade him unless one of these situations presents themselves, as our quest for a 3rd All-star/superstar continues.

I'd be down for Ilyasova but I think it maybe better to wait a little bit longer...closer to the deadline, the better his worth will be IMO
