I am not going to translate this article because of my poor english proficiency. Basically, he reported that there were serious conflicts between the players and the interim coach. It was mainly due to the rotation/substitution of the players and the plan in the clutch plays. It was also "highly possible" that there were major arguments in the locker room after spurs match. Then he THINKS that coach smith does not properly utilise yao's talents.

p.s. I dont know who is this journalist. But what I can say is his articles are posted in tom.com which is owned by Li Ka-Shing. Li is a tycoon in Hong kong and is ranked 28th in the Forbes world's richest people 2003. Of course it does not necessarily mean that any articles in his websites are correct. But I would not assume that his websites would take the risks to post some fake articles REGULARLY.

The writer Yang is the exclusive Yao-source for Chinese Media. His analysis sucks and is really ridiculous this time. But I don't think he would lie about what happened in the Rox locker room. I don't know whether a loud locker room debate is usual or not... if not... :(

Charlie Pallilo reported last night after the game that Larry Smith gave the players a verbal thrashing with 3 seperate waves of expletives. I don't know if that qualified as "major argument" since the screaming was probably all one-sided.

Coaches yelling at their players? Using expletives? How shocking! Nothing like this EVER happens in sports.

    :p

Not with the new and improved Rudy T as your coach, or if it does, it doesn't happen often enough.
