I received great news recently. My temporary hire was now permanent! BUT....I have to move to Dallas for a bit of training...ugh. It's only three months, but still... Anyways, I have not known for very long, and I have been trying to find places online, but to no avail. I am keeping my place in Austin because I will be returning in 3 months and like where I live. So I will only have about $1000 for rent...I also would prefer not to take much furniture with me... Does anyone know any apartment locators? Any friends renting rooms out? Any information on where the cheapest/safest areas are near DFW Airport? Any help would be appreciated...Oh and training starts August 1st...
Those of us here know it's not living, just existing...... Seriously though, if you are looking for something near the airport, you'll want to look in Las Colinas or Irving.

You can live in Euless pretty inexpensively. Its a decent area and moderately priced. Cheaper than Las Colinas. Its right by DFW airport. Grapevine is nice too.
I have been trying to find a moderately priced one, but haven't had much luck thus far. I will check out Las Calinas, I've looked at some in Irving, a few in Grapevine, but I am afraid that Euless may take too long to commute each morning (traffic is turrible in DFW).

Haha, no. I'm just bored out of my freaking mind. I know 5 people in this city, 3 I work with, and 2 friends from HS. The friends from HS are out of town, and the 3 I work with are married. This is going to be the most depressing 3 months of my life. I can't wait to be back in Austin...
