I wish nothing but the worst for Royce White. I really want to see a "Where are they now?" segment five years from now, for the lulz. I hate you, I hate your guts, and I hope all the bad things in life happen to you and nobody else, but you. #BeWell. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/1N5p8IXzNdc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
My bet is he never see the court with them or any other NBA team. He has cooked his goose and has only himself to blame for it !
....where he'll pick up the clerk and get her pregnant... "Hey, this Big Gulp is good! This Big Gulp is so good I want to take it in back of the Middle School and get it pregnant!" "You so crazy!" "That's what I've been trying to tell everybody! What time do you get off?" "Hopefully three seconds before you do, daddy!"
Royce White is ready to play in the NBA, probably for the Philadelphia 76ers, once the trade from Houston becomes official. But making 100 plane flights during a season? "Hell no," the former Iowa State basketball star said after playing for the Walnut Creek YMCA Wednesday night in the YMCA Capital City League at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School. "One hundred flights would be like if you're allergic to peanut butter – it'd be like spreading your whole body with it." Too bad he didn't come clean with that in his pre draft interviews. People can defend him, sympathize with him all they want (although that camp is dwindling rapidly), but the fact appears that he blatantly misrepresented himself before the draft. That overrides any debate regarding his condition and allowances that should be made for those with any mental health issues. I can't fault the Rockets for trying on this one, but it appears they fell for a classic bait-and-switch. The factors they weighed when they drafted Royce were somewhat falsified.
Philly knew what they were getting. No need to worry. I never thought for a second White would play any more minutes for them than he did for us. These are the very last moments of Whites NBA "career". He has no control what so ever over that. This is the last time he can hold anyone to random to get attention. The last time he can play the victim. Caught between a fan base that is glad to be rid of him, and one that doesn't even know or care that he exists. He will use these last fleeting moments to make as much notice as possible, and then he was coldly be cut, having never met a single Philly official. Having never been added to any team rosters. Royce Whites 15 minutes of dame are done. Not even a footnote in NBA history. Now he is just Royce, the guy that doesn't like to fly. I hope it was all worth it...
I think the trade has to do with Jrue Holiday still on his honeymoon. I'm sure the Sixers are making sure that deal goes through first before any others.
