I got a 151 when I took it a couple of years ago. Its a bunch of B.S, intelligence is so relative that you can't really measure it with a test like this. All you have to do is look for abstract relationships the general population is likely to overlook.
On a side note, is there a way to test EQ? (aka Emotional quotient.) People say EQ > IQ. I found it to be true. Just want to know if there is a EQ free test website out there. Thanks in advance.
Haymitch, that test charges you. I just took it. It's a walk in the park... then they ask for your email, and a one-time $9.95 fee, which I didn't pay. What abstract relationships "is" the general population likely to overlook? Bad grammar or not understanding how to count, decide a pattern, or decipher a question? Why are you mad, though?
lol swoly please don't make me correct you trying to correct me. *Hint* Object of the sentence. That being said, here is an example. They show you 4 shapes with various areas and other shapes shaded inside and ask you which doesn't belong. For the most part they look the same with slight variations. Just think about what most people are going to look at and what they are going to ignore. They will likely look at the shaded obvious stuff and overlook details such as the number of sides each polygon within the main polygon has (even or odd) and stuff like that. Once you know to look for that kind of stuff its not hard. I don't think our aptitude tests are very good at gauging intelligence, people that do well on them are just good test takers and know what to look for as opposed to raw-intelligence. Just a side note,
I'm not mad, just confused as to why a test like this is considered the gold standard for gauging someone's intelligence.
That's the point, man. Don't overlook stuff. If you're smart enough, you will catch EVERY single detail and will answer correctly. Is that what By the way, I may have pulled the trigger early; now I noticed that if you take the "general population is likely to overlook", you can make a complete sentence. You were in the clear at first. I apologize. Did you get a bad grade the first time you took it, or are you one of those "general population" that overlooks abstract relationships that are important in a question, or what? Why is it considered a gauge? Because you should be able to know how to solve a problem or decipher a question like that. Still waiting on that side note.
No, but even if I did bad I wouldn't treat it as a "bad grade." An IQ test score isn't going to stick with me and be an employer's or grad school's way of assessing my intelligence. For me it was the MCAT and even though I did well I have a lot of issues with that test as well. I'm also not sure at what you're trying to get at, but no problem on the gramatical stuff, I've done that before too.
OK, so use it for "personal" reason, to improve your analytic and problem-solving skills, not to make sure your employer knows what your grade is. No one needs to boast or be ashamed of their scores, and I don't think employers should ask for that. If it's low, then improve. In your sentence, "is" referred to the general population, not "abstract relationships", so I thought you were making a bad subject and verb agreement.
I'm pretty sure pointing to iqtest.com or mentioning scores from online sites where the average is 160 is an indicator of below average iq.
Yea, "For Free" is the keyword. Your not going to get anything worth your time. OP needs to stop being so cheap and fork over 10$ or w.e if he wants something legit.
