We should get him. This team needs more toughness. But I doubt Ron-Ron will clear waivers. There's obviously going to be some non-playoff team looking for a veteran. Doesn't the team with the worst record get an amnestied player ?

What's he going to stretch besides my patience? He shoots like 25% from the 3. Also, he says he's a 2, not a 4. LOL!

Well said, I'll second and QFT. If we need a stretch four, think Ryan A. But we might have good enough 4s in DMo and TJ already. I hope we'll keep Asik, so at least we'll know we have two top-flight 5s, and hope DMo and TJ improve with seasoning.

LMA would be my pipe dream. Would Lin, Asik, and pick(s) fetch LMA?

It's that time of year when we see dream line-up postings, like:

    Bev, Canaan
    Harden, Garcia
    Parsons, Casspi
    LMA, TJ, DMo
    DH, DMo, Smith

I believe after he clears waivers (which he will unless someone picks up his full salary/contract), there's a bidding process among non-capped out teams. The team with the highest bid gets the player unless multiple teams bid the same amount. Then the team with the worst record gets him. Hope that helps and therefore concludes that the Rockets won't be getting MWP.
