    oh god, no. we are only at the stage where people hate just one player rather than the whole team. miami takes the cake with the lakers following closely behind

    Yea, it's going to take more time to overcome these two. I'm one of many people who has deep seeded hate for the Hollywood Lakers. I wouldn't mind a pre-Big 3 Celtics type drought to humble the franchise a bit.

    If they were to fall off for an extended period, then maybe we could vie for second behind whoever Lebron plays for.

    There is an advantage as being the most hated team in NBA... it brings our guys closer together... would work extra hard to prove everyone wrong...

    Remember the Detroit Bad Boys, now that was a team people loved to hate. If you are dominating other teams their fans are going to hate you; therefore being hated in sports is usually a good thing. Like the poster said, who hates the Bobcats?
