oh g0sh. I don't see us 3-0ing them again. We will need Lin and Dwight to step up, and Harden to not jack up so many shots against Iggy.
Iggy was a harden stopper because harden had literally NOBODY to pass to that would score when we played the nuggets. Oh and golden state needs to sign a quality back up point real soon b/c they are one injury away from being a lottery team w/o curry.
I like Curry, KT, and Barnes. The rest of the squad are a bunch of scrubs. Speights included. Rather have DMo and TJones. I can't believe they gave AI that contract with Barnes already there.
I'm a Gator alumni. Glad to see him having a productive career. I wished Cleveland would've re-signed him, he did a great job for the most part in his limited role there.
It wasn't so easy. They gave up their 2014 and 2017 1st round picks along with multiple 2nd round picks. If they want to improve their roster via trade, they won't be able to include a 1st round pick until 2019. We have all of our picks available to us plus two of Portland's 2nd round picks, should someone like LMA or Love become available. For Utah, it was an obvious choice. They needed to spend $24 million just to meet the minimum salary requirement. Why not get several picks from a conference rival in the process? For them, it was basically free.
Ugh, I always really liked Speights he would've been a fine fit on the Rockets. It sucks that he's going to a competitor. Good lanky defender that can guard multiple positions, absolutely money from mid range, very good rebounder. He's like an Aldridge Lite.
I think that's the wrong way to go. Even if we don't win the championship, I think they need to push it as far as they can go. The more legitimate a contender the Rockets look at year-end, they more likely our first choice free agents will sign with us (and at a discount) next offseason. Motie and Jones will come along okay without the benefit of affirmative action.
Iguodala, Tony Allen, George, all defensive stoppers that had success against Harden. This will change with Howard in the fold. Expect Harden to be more efficient than last year with him getting more open looks and easier finishes around the rim on P&R.
I don't get the worry over the Warriors. If you crowd their shooters and have Howard or Asik in the paint, they bog down offensively and don't play enough defense to win.
