Why isn't LMA a superstar? He does things better than Love. He has a better polished game on the offensive end than Love. Love is the better rebounder, and their defensive I'd say is pretty even. Since when aren't they at least in the same class?

Kevin Love is a stat padder. He either scores from wide open 3's or from offensive put backs. He doesnt really have a great post up game. Can't really create his own offense.

    Better player? Love

Better fit for the Rockets? It's a tough call, but probably Aldridge

For those emphasizing the need for a floor spacer, the dilemma here is: while Love has 3 pt range, LMA is better from 16-23 feet - so it's basically a wash.

It's funny that people think a team can choose its superstar at any position

You get them and luck has to be involved

I agree with the last statement, but I wouldn't use combine numbers to be the end-all-be-all. Jordan Farmar recorded arguably better numbers than Drose, but I'm pretty sure no one in their right mind would put those two in the same class athletically. I don't have any objective evidence that LMA is more athletic than Love - only subjective assessment based on watching games. No point to argue, I guess.

I always pick the younger one if the difference between 2 players is very small.
Have to go with Love here.

I feel like Morey'll (almost sounds like Moray Eel) take the 3-point shooter over the midrange guy every time. My mouth starts to drool imaging opponents finishing the game with 26 rebounds total. Give me Love.

I believe both could be avaliable depending on how bad their team does. Both have had talks of leaving their current team and why not join the most desirable duo currently?

I agree "Luck" has to be certainly involved, but I hope both would love to play in Houston. They both "Fit" Perfectly with what we need/have.

Love is a legit super star when he's healthy. Aldridge is a solid All-Star. Love is also 3 years younger. If the choice is Love or Aldridge, Love all the way.

Love. I feel like LMA would be like another Pau next to Dwight. Love would fit better. But, even if i'm starting my own team, id take Love first.

Aldridge is a better first option. He can create for himself at any time. If we had him, we would have two guys who we could throw the ball to at crunch time.

love doesn't seem like a strip club kind of guy so LMA would probably be a better fit in terms of team chemistry

Horford, because he can defend small forwards.

Also, we had one of the best offenses in the nba last year without a real stretch 4, without Howard.

    We need more defense.

More specifically we need a power forward capable of aggressively switching onto a small forward, and vice versa (parsons.)

Ziggy, I feel ya, but I'm with Easy on this one.

Aldridge provides a whole new dimension in crunch time offense. Just toss the ball to him in the high post and let him get his own shot. Definitely a nice option to have whenever defenses are used to seeing Harden ISO's, PnR's and mechanical Dwight post-up looks.
