Yessssssss!! I love chuck, he's such a great defender in the post, really good teammate. Yeah he doesn't have much size on him or offensive game but he was a great defender when he was here, if the price is right why not?

If they waive him then sure! However do not see Morey trading for him as of now

I think, even now, TJ has a more polished, versatile game on the offensive end. And with Asik and Howard both on the roster atm, TJs game probably fits better. I cringe at DMO defense and his penchant to shoot 3pt shots

Oh, and Hayes game clashes with Howard/Asik. Forgot my point of that entire last post

Although he is far from a stretch four when it comes to shooting, he is probably as good a passer from the top of the key as any PF in the game.

I think it is inevitable that Asik will be gone by the trade deadline mid-season. Chuck could play with Dwight and form the best defensive 4-5 combo in the league. Nobody could get to the rim and score with those two on the floor together.

The point is we don't really need him. You can't play him with Howard OR Asik because they'd clog the paint, as neither of the three has a shot. Asik is a GREAT back up center. Chuck Hayes is just an ok back up center because he's not a center. We forced him into that role out of need, not because he was good for it. Maybe you take him as a back up 4, but I'd rather get Jones and Dmo going with their own development.

And that's the worst Royce White impersonation ever.

fair enough analysis but I think for a small amount of money if he got light out he would be a welcome addition to the team. and it's not an impersonation. I am not a fan of Royce white. - be well friend

Even if he is bought out there is no need for a 6'5 Center. Camby will be a greatchoice when he is bought out.

Chuck doesn't fit our system, he's not a stretch 4 or a dominant big man. Much rather keep Asik.

And stop saying BEWELL, Royce is not on this team anymore

Id let chuck run the 4. Sure he cant shoot, but no 4 is going to rebound or score on him. hahaha

I'd like to see Chuck back for the vet min. IMO, he'd be perfect at taking spot minutes at pf/c. He can coexist just fine with Howard and Asik, hell he started next to Yao.

    How quickly we forget.

IF Asik is traded AND Chuck is bought out, I'd love to have him back for the minimum. If Asik is still here I can't imagine Chuck getting any many minutes.

I'd still have no problem with him at the minimum I guess, depending on what that meant we had to lose in terms of a young player.

You know what I love... Is that someone even brought this up. It's unlikely that we would bring him back at more than the vet min... But on the off chance that the kings drop him I would giggle like a twelve year old to have him on the bench with this team

Giving Jones, Smith and Motiejunas experimental minutes would be fun but were actually a contender now and need to be focusing on winning more then developing young players.

Camby is 39 and is super injury prone, only 3 seasons where he's played 70 games or more in his 17 year career. If i get the choice of Hayes or Camby, I take Hayes everyday.
