People already jumping on Tjones bandwagon after ONE game in the summer league, some even say he could be an allstar? I seriously can't wait to laugh at you guys when the actual season starts. Its hilarious how the same thing happens year after year, but some people never get it.

Sadly, folk around Clutchfans have been slobbering over Jones since last summer, even saying he could be a stretch 4 due to him hitting a few 3 points, even when in the regular season in the chances he didn't hit jack.

I actually think he has potential but he is so much of the Patrick Patterson mold right now in that he seems poised to be a solid player but not much else.

25 pts, 8 asst, 8-23, 9 TOs, that's Harden type of stats. MCW is a superstar in the making

He is a free agent and can play with any summer league team that asks him. Most the players on the Rocket summer league team aren't signed in any way.

Is that why Canaan can't play? No contract yet? What if he gets injured?

Even though I agree with you in this instance, you really don't like anything, do you?

I would love a PPat type player on this team. We traded him because we knew Thomas' contract would be easier to unload due to his potential. Patterson would be the perfect complementary player to Howard. He can space on offense, play solid perimeter defense and is good on switches. His rebounding isn't the best but I truly think it will increase in time, a 14-8 / 14-7 player is really all we need at Power Forward.

Just remember Bosh was a 24-10 player the year before Miami. This season he averaged 17-7 and the team did just fine in the regular season. A big three is an awesome concept but really can only work if one of the players is willing to take a real back seat. I think Parsons is a very good third option and that our Power Forward just needs to spread the court and play good man defense.

it's not just one game, last season he looked terrific in most of the games he played. You can see a starting base to work with.

Why so negative? Young player is getting better. What is there not to like?
Do you prefer Royce White? I can see that.

Terrence Jones is crazy talented. The problem is that he's a 'tweener forward. His form on his jump-shot is bad, and watching his D-League games & highlights he has suspect shot selection while I have yet to see him guard big 4s.

I have no doubt he could be a very capable PF akin to Josh Smith but I don't believe he has the range to be a reliable stretch-4 option. I think we'll see him starting ahead of D-Mo inevitably, he played well in the limited opportunities he received last season.

It's funny how everyone here wants a stretch 4, yet they wanted Josh Smith.:confused:
