all i have to say is why is this relevant? A decent shot blocker - ok - but the NBA game is not structured around shot blocking. Makes good highlights but that is about it.
Almost 3 minutes of the "block master" doing 12 blocks.... Was hoping a lot more. Anyone got the stats? Have a feeling that he gets less than a block a game.
This guy will prob get traded for a first round pick. The Knicks wanted this guy back befor the Bargs trade,
Whoa , I hope not.lebron will make up the remaining 15" or so...he will be ok, we will see this year I hope... I really can't believe his vertical, BRBgoing to DraftXpress to check on this!
Was Papanikolaou not the player that we traded to Sixers to dump Royce White? I thought we would of added Papanikolaou instead of Casspi to the roster if we still had his rights, no?
Does he have a buyout clause? Most Euro teams have a Buyout Clause, that allows them to go to the NBA for a certain amount of money paid by the NBA team that owns his rights. I think his buyout will count towards the salary cap.
http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knicks/papa_shot_RrBjOOwiJyQYoFmO1xmBZJ NBA buyout without it affecting the cap is $575k for this upcoming season. The remaining $525k is like a signing bonus, eg 3yr contract it counts as an extra $175k per year. In a 2yr contract it would be $262.5k per year. The reason for the trade request from the Blazers intrigues. The Rockets will make cap room or they intend to use him as a trade sweetener?
I think this guy could be the perfect ideal PF the Rockets need. A stretch PF that can pretty much do everything...shoot, block shots, play D, hustling, rebound i mean he seems to have it all.
