Since there are already mumblings about "Dwight's Rockets" or "Hardens Rockets" - what do you think. Who is right now the better player all things considered?
I think it's Dwight, he makes a huge impact on both sides of the court, whereas Harden's only impact is on offense.
Dwight. By a longshot. He is a top 3 talent when healthy. Harden is borderline top 10. More like top 15. But has plenty of time to grow into an even better player. I see this as more of a one two punch like Shaq and Kobe.
Despite Harden's offensive prowess, I'd have to say Dwight due to impact and experience in being the alpha dog of the pack.
It's actually Lin's team. Dwight will be the best player. The coaches wouldn't build the system around him like they promised to if he weren't the best player.
If Howard is 100% healthy he is, if not then Harden. If Harden makes some big strides this season defensively it will be damn close.
Who cares? They all play for the Rockets thats what matters. I still remember back in the Yao/Tmac days people used to argue whos better between those 2 and trust me, those threads werent that fun to read.
