Makes no sense. We're trying to win now. Why are we shedding anything? Our salary situation is pretty snug and fine. Why give up picks for no reason?

Did you just want to move Lin and GSmith for the hell of it or something? lol

Besides, Asik has even said he doesn't want to stay in Houston now that Dwight's here. He's not content to spend that much time on the bench, and I don't blame him. Right now, we have this team while UNDER the cap...

Lin, Harden, Parsons, Howard, Asik...Bev, TJones, DMo, Andersen (believe his $900k still fits under the cap), GSmith...roster charge, roster charge

But those 2 roster charges will be filled with Garcia and Canaan, taking us just a smidge over the $58.5M cap. We can move Asik for value back easily...hail mary dream would be packaging him for LMA, or straight up or w/ TJones for Josh Smith, or maybe another deal to POR (Meyers Leonard and JJ Hickson maybe? or something), or to NOP for Ryan Anderson, etc.

FYI everything i said is contigent on making this team better. If you can move Lin, and the other things i mentioned to make this team better. You do it. I am not only stating we do these things to shed cap, but we do what we can without over-reaching our boundaries to make this team better. Do you understand?

Definitely, Delfino is a no-defense playing chucker, who will continue to shoot even if he's off.

Garcia does one thing better then Delfino, and thats defend. Something we have lacked, and leadership has to be better then Delfino's. I love both players but, I think Garcia in the long run is a better choice, defense, 3 point shooting, leadership. Guy took vet min, some nba players could learn a thing or 2 from this guy.

Great signing. Super underrated. With all the shooting we have, its unreasonable to think we wont get a stretch 4.

Were going to be shooting treys all night.

I would love to have Garcia back. I would love to have Delfino back as well. Garcia has an edge in defense. Delfino shoots slightly better, but Garcia can shoot well too.
