I actually like this idea. Asik + dmo for Ilyasova + Henson? And exchange 1st, whichever higher goes to Rox. With Buck's current roster, should be a lottery in a packed 14 draft. We can either keep the pick or trade for pieces to contend. The only downside would be Ilyasova's big contract, $8mil for 5 years..gonna really hurt the team's future flexibility, but he's a decent pf, with good size and range, hustle plays and rebounds, and doesn't need the ball in hand that much. Besides, we need a Turk guy in the roster Thoughts?
No is isn't, but I think an Asik for Ersan trade would help both teams, the Rockets are looking for a stretch 4 ,and the Bucks need more post defense.
It does, but do we really want to help them address their achilles heal, when we can go get what we need somewhere else (LMA,Smith, etc)? I mean, we are going to be seeing these guys in the Finals for years to come, no?
I dont think the Bucks will be willing to give up Sanders unless getting a all-start potential return. Besides, he's more of a center, needs to camp in the paint...too similar to Dwight's game. And when his rookie contract's up, we won't have the cap space to re-sign him.
Ilyasova is a good suggestion given his ability to space the floor and the fact that he makes Ryan Anderson money. Unlike Anderson, at least Ilyasova can contribute in other areas whenever his shot isn't falling.
He is really more of a 4 than a 5, and he is really not that great of a defender, but he is a great shot-blocker, similar to Ibaka.
Taking a closer look at Ilyasova's contract, 5 year $40 mil signed in 12-13, but only 400k guaranteed in 2016...sounds like flexibility.
For those that are interested in trading for Bosh, keep in mind he has a 15% trade kicker clause in his contract that I would think a majority of owners would want no part of. Edit: "no" part of.
Not a great defender? Have you ever watched him play? He's one of the best defenders in the game. Here's a graph of how opposing teams shoot when he's in the game:
Haha, I stand corrected. Even so, I still see him as more of a 4 than a 5, at least until he puts on some weight.

Not much, but there is interest. Rockets still high on Asik.Like Anderson a lot. Asik is a top 5 player at his position. His position is the hardest position to fill. Asik is worth more than Anderson. LMA is not an unreasonable expectation IMO.
The point is though, Anderson is a much bigger need than Omer. We can still sign a cheap backup center who can protect the paint.
