    Portland is a playoff contender next year, and many years to come. They know what they are doing. They will not let Aldridge leave.

    What has changed for them since last year, a year they couldn't make the playoffs? I'm honestly asking as I don't get why their record was subpar last year.

    Portland will probably be an 7th or 8th seed. The problem they had last season was no bench so their starters always had to play extended minutes which tired them out in the long run.
