I LOVE this. Honestly, the way he played in the playoffs, I'm content with him as our 6th man to start the season. But we all know Morey isn't done.
No offence but why do we need picks if we are already out of the rebuilding zone? We have a couple of picks to start of already anyway Just saying
Friscos a great locker room guy, and he heard about our brand spankin new locker rooms = well played Morey. Well played indeed.
We don't need picks. We trade some picks. Keep the big man Asik for the bench (if we can). He would be a nightmare match-up for opposing teams, but deal Lin, G Smith, guys we need to cut/picks/etc... to get a man for the bench, or to just shed cap.
yess!! I loved what Garcia brings to our team, nonstop hustle, threes, and veteran leadership, it impressed me with how much he values team comraderie. I forgot which interview he mentioned how he looked out for his teammates when he was with the kings. It would be awesome if we could get delfino back too!
Dwight Howard Effect!!!! No way Francisco comes back without knowing Superman is with the Rockets. He should of been a Knickerbocker. Bring it on Durantacula!!!
I'm a big fan of Garcia. Delfino is a better closer and isn't afraid to take the big shots, but Garcia is a locker room leader and the kind of vet you want around to enhance the chemistry of the team. Apparently he's also an amazing defender, contained Durant as much as humanly possible during the playoffs. I'd love to have him back on the squad just for that matchup.
Think about if we acquired Josh Smith as well, and rotated Parsons Smith Garcia on the likes of Durant. He'd be so frustrated.
I hope we bring both back. Delfino has a beast mode that is activated every now and then. He brought us back in games we had no business having a chance of winning.
I got home and just found out about this. Great news! He's more than just a shooter. A very valuable rotation player.
We got him back for peanuts My guess is the org probably has him in future plans as assistant coach...
