How does the waiver clearing process work? Any chance we can get Delfino, Garcia, Brooks back?

    U're correct ! but u can always hope !

With that said, I'm fine with any addition that can shoot and make big 3's... but we gonna need at least one more (role-player) guy that can knock down big time three's...

Just like we had Cassell / Kenny / Horry / Elie in the Clutch Years....

Nice hope we can get Garcia back. He can knock down 3's, plays scrappy D and was a great teammate last year.

We are now building to win it all. That means having an answer for Durant and Lebron.

Francisco Garcia is the priority after the way he played Durant and shot the ball in key moments.

I'm not a fan of josh smith but if he can competently harass Lebron and Durant, that could give us parsons, Garcia and smith to wear those guys down in a series.

Kawhi Leonard is emerging as a factor too, so we need talent at the SF and über big guard spot.

I desperately want Garcia back, and if he's willing to take a pay cut, Morey, you pay that man!

His defense on KD during the 1st round was huge. Dude was relentless.

I wouldn't mind taking Delfino back either; really helps to spread the floor for Dwight.

I would love for Garcia to come back...Delfino is ok, but I would wait an see on shooters(he was really streaky)..I just dont know if Brooks will fit if the current stable of PGs remain. Lin, Beverly and Canaan should be salvageable.

I just had a thought about this that I wrote on the salary cap thread.

If we offer a second round pick to Lakers for a S&T for Dwight, do we aty over the cap and therefore keep our full $5m MLE?

The Lakers do it because they get a second round pick and a massive trade exception instead of Dwight walking for nothing.

We get the extra 2.5m difference between the full MLE and Room Exception and we get to retain Anderson and Ohlbrect.

    Can anyone clarify?

I'd spend the 2+ million on Garcia easy. I know he might get a slightly better offer but I think he liked playing in Houston...especially after playing for the Kings. No tax, better chance to win, can keep his roots and is appreciated.

If we can some how get Delfino and Garcia back I would be ecstatic if we didn't get another PF. I have no doubt in my mind or fear that either those would hesitate or be scarred of the 'moment' in a big time playoff game to fire away some open 3s. That said Garcia is option A and Delfino B, due to what others have said, Garcia can be a pesky defender and is a little more durable.

Brooks, luv him but his spot on the team was taken by that rookie we drafted.

cisco please come back! I love delfino and his amusing antics, but he's kinda streaky in terms of shooting. still wouldn't mind having him back. ab is gone, still love him though.

The only one I want back is Garcia, Delfino is injured and a spotty three point shooter at best. Brooks is old and we have Canaan now.

What I loved about Delfino was he gave no ****s. We need someone like him that's going to come in and not be afraid to take a big shot. Also, at times he was running the offense when everyone was lost.

Francisco is a must-have for the Rockets. He can play defense, importantly he is a willing team player. I would pass on Delfino, he is too willing to shoot easily. Don't laugh, we may need to look at Battier in 2014 even though he is supposed to retire after this season.

Fransisco I'd love to have back.

Delfino has always been an injury risk and does not have the same level of defense as Sisco.

We'll see what Morey does for us.
