    Riet,

You think Vlade Divac is strong enough for Shaq?

You don't have to be as strong as Shaq as long as you get between him and the basket, establish position, and then if Shaq barrels into you....FLOP !!

All you are really doing is helping the refs see an obvious foul.

Shaq usually does a lot less barreling in when he has a couple of offensive fouls under his belt.

Shaq only had a couple of those moves.

You flop when he lowers the shoulder and plunges into you - and Yao did flop on that one.

If he starts backing it in and you flop, youre not going to get the call unless he's moving fast. Tonight he just slowly backed it in until he was 2 inches from the basket.

A couple of moves he made facing the basket, a few he made a quick 3 foot jumpshot.

Overall, when youre as dominant as he was tonight, youre not going to get the call unless he just runs you over full speed, which he didnt do.

The funniest thing Walton said was, "Mark Madsen is not making his usual contribution tonight." Mark Madsen is a scrub and might be the most uncoordinated person I have ever seen.

From my obervation, when Yao get the ball, kobe will help Shaq to defend, when Shaq get the ball no rockets help Yao

    Amen.

The real idiots are the ones who think Walton is the idiot, from what he says.

If you haven't noticed by now, most of what Walton says is sarcastic.

You might be able to say it's ANNOYING. But to say he's stupid, is wrong.

Shockingly, I agree with you! People take everything he says too literally.

    Bill Walton = cool

Walton is very basketball smart. What he said tonight I didn't want to hear but they were true. Yao can't guard Shaq one on one(but really no one can), our offense still is too iso, and we could work more on our fastbreaks.

He's very funny too in an sacrastic way. I didn't really enjoy listening to Walton tonight, but then I never do like him on national TV. He's much more enjoyable with the Clipper broadcasts. He jokes around more often and is more himself. Example of somethings that he said last time the Clippers played the Lakers last week on local broadcast:

On Shaq's made 2nd ft after missing the first badly: What a touch from the line, he's got such a classic form.

On Shaq knocking down 4 players on his way to the basket and an offensive foul: Is this bowling, everyone fell like bowling pins, who took the charge? (Other Clipper Annoucer: Q Richardson) Oh you mean the Late Q Richardson.

On Mark Madson getting his own rebound after a open missed layup: Oh, he's going to have a 15 year career in the NBA.

So much more I can't remember...but he's much more enjoyable than most other commentators esp those on national coverage.

Watch the games dude...Posey leading the fast break? If i were the defenders...I'd just keep on backpedaling and wait for Posey to throw it away right into my hands.

Walton has grown on me lately. I got to see him last year doing Clipper games and I realized that most of the time Bill has tongue firmly implanted in cheek when he speaks.

I would give Francis the honor, since he doesn't run any breaks, he just slows down and does the occasional high step or hop. That is worse, at least Cuttino and Mobley try and often get easy baskets or draw a foul.
