you think his style of play would fit better with Dwight over Anderson's strengths?

Dwight's best years were when he was playing with dead eye shooters in

Jameer Nelson, Turkoglu, and Rashard Lewis.

history suggests that Josh Smith would only get in the way.

I don't see Lopez as a solution for them, especially next to LMA....not a good fit.

Still, I don't see anything less than Asik + Parsons getting the deal done, and I don't think Morey will jump on that when he can get Smith without giving up Parsons.

IMO, only chance LMA ends up in Houston is him publicly demanding a trade to Houston and only Houston....which I don't see him doing. That may give Morey just enough leverage to allow us to keep Parsons.

Maybe we should pick up J.J Hickson if we lose out on Smith. He seems like a Morey kind of player. We could do an S&T with Portland in which we give them Omer plus a 2015 first rounder for Hickson, Allen Crabbe, and Meyers Leonard.

awful, there's a reason GS took off in the playoffs when David Lee went down.

moved Harrison Barnes to the 4 and those guys just LET IT FLY.

Bogut was a poor man's Dwight Howard in that series.

it only works if Bogut is there to protect that paint.

Stein, the Dallas man, is bitter.

But I wouldn't trade Asik for Anderson anyway.

Woj always wins. I doubted him today for standing his ground after saying DWight was confirmed to houston and he comes out like always.

"if at first you don't succeed, try..try... again."

get another team involved, there are a handful of teams that would Love to get their hands on Asik.

All this Anderson debate with no legs.

Probably will take a few days to discern speculation from fact. Lots of speculation being taken as fact right now I think.

Ok, i am glad morey asked more than anderson in return. This to me is a save face move on the part of pelicans after being laughed out by morey.

For me Woj has moved up to "Legendary" status. The way he just stuck with his statement and showed confidence in his sources and never backed out while all others with "sources close to Howard" were flip-flopping.

does Anthony Davis play PF or Center?

If he's playing PF, Asik would be the perfect fit for that young team.

Anthony Davis has a jumper with room to improve, it'd work.

Actually, I wouldn't credit Stein here. David Aldridge called this on NBA TV earlier. He said Pelicans/Rockets deal "won't happen".

They got no need for Anderson. Asik would be a perfect fit there too.

    Asik-Anderson/2 2nd rounders.

    Done deal for me.

Was thinking about ersan as well. Pretty good defender, good rebounder, and efficient shooter from just about every where. Pretty much what you want in a stretch 4. I think he's the one of the better fits next to Dwight and I think the Bucks would bite on that swap.
