Yao's 2-12 shooting stat has been there for at least an hour. Has he really not got a chance to shoot?

Why is there no double-teaming of Shaq?

Yao is taking it from behind from Shaq. This is pathetic.

There's not much anyone can do against shaq unless his name is Hakeem Olajuwon. The only thing Yao can do is throw the sky hook up or the jumper. If neither is going down then it's over. Meanwhile, I think it's hard for shaq to have a bad game. He overpowers everyone so easily. And something else...Yao loses confidence really easily. After a few of his jumpers weren't going down, he started waiting for the double team to come so he could pass instead of trying to make a move.

I knew that I should have bet you, my friend. The Rockets lost to the Lakers. Tommorrow, the Rockets will fall to the ninth spot in the West. The Suns fans and the Warriors fans are laughing at how horrible the Rockets played.

    The referees SUCKED tonight.

That call on Posey at the end of the 1st half where Kobe leaned into him was TERRIBLE, you don't call that...what BS.

Also, when the hell are they going to start calling Shaq for offensive fouls?

Yao needs to learn to flop....Shaq was murdering him out there, and the refs swallowed their whistles.

I usually don't whine about the refs, but they forgot they were in Houston, and called a TERRIBLE game.

You are an idiot moron. Yao got hit on the chin and it could be anything, could be a sprain, could be muscle or bone problem. He went to the dressing room for a checkup for short while and then came right back out quickly. He is a real tough guy.

I noticed this too. It's the first time I've seen Yao really lose confidence in his offensive skill. Hopefully he bounces back against the Spurs tomorrow!

i lost the little amount of respect that i had for kobe. the little girl whined the whole game.

cato brought tears of joy to my face when he whacked kobe's assprin flat on his buttocks with a THUD heard all around the Compaq Center.

At least the rockets have a decent record in back to back games.

It's hard to shoot when you're riding the bench. Also, as another poster said, Yao when he got the ball was looking to pass as soon as he touched it.

I think the confidence thing is very true here. Yao lost it early and didn't recover. Yao is a Rookie so we can expect this every now and then. You could see the fear in his eyes...oh well SHAQ DADDY when he wants to can do it to you everytime.

My poor boy Yao, wish this game doesn't destroy his confidence
and his aim of becoming the best.
    What a cruel lesson.
Yao will get use to it.
The first year I played in US, got dunked on by many street
baller, and was hard to get the ball off my hand, but now
I can play and compete other US baller, doing good now.
    Go Yao Ming.

If they weren't gonna call the first one where Shaq bowled Yao down and dunked it, they weren't going to call anything, flop or no flop.
