Why is no other major outlet/reporter reporting this? Is it because it's complete bull****? I'm going to say yes.
While Morey not yet tweeting "Welcome Dwight Howard to the Houston Rockets" does concern me, I'm confident IF Dwight is actually flying back to L.A. it is ONLY to tell Mitch (who, by all accounts is a great and honest guy) face to face, man to man. Anything such as asking to fire MDA or the such would've been handled through his agent or over the phone. We're good, guys. Banners coming down so early makes sense after reading the way Dwight was in the Laker meeting.

Why would Dwight be going back to LA, when Woj tweeted a few hours ago that he and the rockets were finalizing a contract? It just doesn't add up. This better not be like Game 6 of the finals. Probably because Dwight is just telling him in person, why he leaves... But maybe he is really fighting with himself about that guaranteed money and wants to be persuaded to stay. But since no major guys are reporting this, and the news about Houston has been out for about 3 hours with no one denying it, I think it's pretty safe. Houston trading Royce in that time (which meant losing an international asset and money) is a pretty good indicator as well...

If Dwight is as self conscious about himself, what he is doing is just trying to be a nice guy to the Lakers FO and tell him that he is leaving LA for Houston. You always want to end things amicably. Feelings are always gonna be hurt, but it is better to just nice. And this is precisely what Dwight is doing. In today's age of info media, a news this big can not be contained until Dwight feels it is necessary. Info leaks and thats what happened today afternoon. I cant wait for the Dwight press conference...hope they do something similar to what they did for TMac
