Actually now that i look at the trade calculator the only thing that makes sense is a S&T for Lin and Asik for Smith and Teague plus pick
H-Town stand up. Thank you daryl morey, slim thugga, harden, parsons, DREAM, clyde, and les. And of course shout out to clutch for managing traffic on this site smoothly last few days.
I'm actually fine going to war with what we have. Smith is too offensively inefficient for my taste, and I hope Morey sees it that way as well. If we must get rid of Asik, hopefully we can trade him to a team with capspace for picks, and then sign maybe Millsap with that money. Don't think after the GSW deal, Utah has the capspace to take on Asik's salary with a S&T. Ideally I'd love to get our hands on LMA with a 3 team deal with Lin and Asik. Also don't mind giving TJones and Dmo a chance to grow in that 4 spot, and quite content with our pg duo. Too early to cut ties with Jeremy with only 1 season of starting under his belt while improving throughout season. Plus he's a harder contract to move and his age fits right in with our team vs Calderon who's a bit older and makes Lin look like Gary Payton on D, albeit is Steve Nash lite.
You have to hand it to Morey though. Stock pilled assets and people hated but he stuck to his guns and it paid off
@HowardBeckNYT: So Dwight leaves LA, Iguodala leaves Denver, Bynum flops in Philly. I guess Orlando won that trade after all.
