Jim Parsons: Dwight, I've got Emmies. I can teach you how to act. I will introduce you to Penny!

Dwight: You got Emmies, can teach me to act & introduce me to Penny; why didn't you say that before?!? I'm signing with the Rockets!!

    Parsons: Well, there ya go.

Yeah, not only that, but the character he plays, Sheldon, is also from Houston, Texas.

Bad character and a bad tv show. I bet this hurts our chances of Dwight coming to Houston.

I was a big fan, now I love this guy! And his character likes the Flash. It's almost insanely perfect. Made ESPN.

I believe this to be incorrect. I think his character Sheldon is from Denton, TX.

It's actually quite a shock to see a celeb come out and support the Rockets. Main stream media usually sees us as a small town team so we hardly get any shout outs like this. It's usually all about the lakers, celtics, Knicks, and now heat. Big Bang is actually one of the most popular shows on tv right now (no matter what your opinion on the show is) and is already in syndication on two major networks (tbs and fox). Not to mention its ongoing on CBS. The show's following is much bigger than the rockets. I can see this as only helping out our cause and probably bring in more fans and supporters.
