My thoughts exactly. This seems more like media trying to add a little suspense to the story but I doubt any sports writer/reporter would put hard earned money on Golden State's chances to get someone(let alone several GMs) to swallow 3 large contracts without adding salary of their own AND still retain their young guys. In short they can't do it without changing the team fundamentally in a way that immediately makes them a less desirable spot for Howard. The only way GS pulls this off is with a sign & trade with LA but I don't see how LA would be willing to take that contract deadweight back unless Buss Jr is delusional enough to think Bogut & Biedrins is going to replace Howard for another ill fated run at the title "when Kobe is back"...which he just might be.
hmm. S&T with the Lakers for Dwight Coward? they want a SF, PG and C. wouldn't it be ironic if they made a pitch for Parsons and the Rockets actually considers it? haha

Announced growing interest in GS/LA S&T immediately after the GS meeting too. Not saying he can't be wrong, but he's been right (seemingly) on a couple of occasions in the short time I've been here.
cyberx we appreciate any input you can give us to the process of what's been happening. Plus I don't believe you are that x person on lakersground because you broke Asik not being matched by the bulls last year. That had nothing to do with the Lakers.

This thread will be way past 500 pages in the morning. At least most of the Dwight Saga is here, instead of spread out over half a dozen threads with heavy traffic. That would be a Dwightmare to keep up with. I don't doubt that we're hearing BS from GM's, BS from agents and, most assuredly, BS from media talking heads of all stripes. Since I don't know who to believe, and my inclination is not to believe anyone, I think I'll go with that fellow who's informed and entertained us here for years, the guy half of you haven't a clue about, Doc Rocket.
