You sound like a warriors fan. You have no idea the cap hell they are in. You are in way over your head if you think they can clear enough for dwight while keeping one (not both) of barnes and thompson.

Just realized, they could amnesty Kobe or Gasol, probably Gasol to save on the LUxury tax threshold. i'm telling the Lakers are going to blow up their Franchise. And 2014-2015, they are going to go hard after FAs.

It would be between 100 and 140m, depending on what else they sign.

And no, they won't pay 60m for two late first rounders, if that was happening, they could force us to give them 2 late first rounders and no players, Morey wouldn't get suckered into that.

Do you know what the Lakers would be paying for those crappy picks? Salary and tax bill on taking on those 3 for just 1 year would be around 75 million. Those would be the most expensive picks ever. Jimmy is a fool but he's not that big of fool.

You know, Howard's camp might have said f***-all to any team so far. DH12 got out of Dodge to get some distance between himself and the Lakers. In the meantime the GSW go all out to get themselves the cap space that Houston has spent so much time to get.

But it doesn't mean that Howard encouraged them to clear cap space.

If Howard wants to make his announcement on a specific day, there it is. What, is he gonna call GSW and say, "Don't bother?"

In deference to everyone who made a pitch, he'll say nothing to any team.

One thing about people who want to be loved by everyone is they wind up pissing off others because they won't just come out and say, You know what, thanks, but it isn't happening.

I don't blame Dwight for having interest in GSW, but he couldn't go to the Nets. He ain't going to Oakland either.

Quit putting him in a GSW uniform. NO ONE has told us what he's thinking. If GSW screwed themselves with Bogut and Jefferson and Biedrins, too damned bad. If they won't yield up a player like Thompson or Barnes, too damned bad.

Let's see how badly the Lakers want to do GSW a solid. I just don't see it.

Correct, James is built like a tank, where as Curry is built like a fairy. Curry is like that comic book guy from "Unbreakable." He's too injury prone.

For some reason, I think the Lakers are still the 2nd favorite for Dwight. If he doesn't come to Houston, I think he stays on the Lakers.

I don't get the love for Howard from GSW's standpoint
Houston had a history of great Centers, know how to use them

    GSW has always been smallballing
All they need is a decent C, a better PF than Lee, and lots of shooters and attacking guards which they got

SO they would have to amnesty Gasol or Kobe, probably Kobe.

Look at it from a Laker Perspective. Lakers amesty Gasol. Trade for Jefferson, Biedrins, and Bogut,. Expiring contracts Galore for 2014-2015. Then the Lakers go hard after Free Agents. If they can make the Luxury Tax reasonable within 20-40 Million dollars, I think the Lakers would do the deal to get late first round draft picks.

I certainly think the Lakers don't want Howard to go to Houston. especially if Josh Smith goes to the Rockets also.

We all hate him. He is the reason dwight didn't end up here last season, even though that worked out well for us. Very well if howard signs here.

The Golden State Angle is just too sketchy...

    1. why would Dwight take a lot lesser money in GS?
    2. why would he go to GS when it is not the same team last year?
    3. GS stars health are all also questionable as LA...

    Just doesnt make any sense....

Btw we just blew the previous Record for the longest Thread in Clutchfans!!!!! Grats EveryONE!!!!!!
