Howard should already be here. He better decide today or tomorrow. It really should be a no-brainer.

Sounds like the backcourt of Harden & Lin and to a lesser extent Beverley was part of the pitch to Dwight! Good to hear, it's definitely going to be one of the best back court duos for years to come!

Hakeem is usually more pessimistic than optimistic.

Remember last FA ("He didn't talk to me about Houston").

Now, "85% chance he signs here".

    That's very, very good.

This makes up for the time Hakeem played briefly for the Bucks. It was so painful we blocked it out. It was nice though seeing Dream and Cassell back together.

Having Dream involved in something so important for the future of the franchise just feels right. It's been 20 years since we were an elite team, with a few different eras and generations of fans since then. Having him at the helm again, so to speak, provides a cohesiveness that had been lacking with the coaching and franchise player changes.

??? You mean the Raptors, right? And I don't think Cassell was with Toronto.

Does anyone have any idea whether we're compensating Hakeem in a significant way? He is a businessman and I don't think there are any rules limiting financial contributions to retired players. Any precedents? Not that he doesn't have emotional ties to Houston; He just hasn't been so prominent since he retired.

    Didn't say he wasn't a "star".

Besides those stats mean nothing when they get swept out of the first round.
Tmac was a star and had superstar stats. Doesn't mean he is going to help a team succeed.

Awesome dude, thanks for the relevant insight! I'm glad you aren't our GM!

Seriously people, stop with the LMA. It's not happening, and everyone here overrates him like crazy. We know he went to UT and people around here are a fan, but be reasonable.

T-Mac never carried a team past the 1st round, much less the Finals...Dwight has.

I'm convinced that there was an all-star meeting that included mchale which is why Dream was so adamant that Howard was staying in LA. He was covering everyone's tail.

Sure let's rely on Dwight then. I'm sure he'll be a great leader and has the mental fortitude to win us a championship.

    Dream can teach him that.
I doubt Dwight could learn the Dream shake, he can learn how to be tougher mentally
