I think we are going to kick their ass. I have a feeling we don't get intimidated by them anymore.

Oh, if there were only a way to put somebody on "Ignore" that also hides their posts when someone else quotes them.

i think we should try to put some cato on shaq and add yao for the double and weakside blocks, that way yao can save some energy and get the offense going instead of spending all his time and energy guarding shaq

Good idea nyquil82.Shaq is playing much more aggressively and Yao could easily get in trouble against him.I would like to start Yao but if he gets quick fouls we can't do anything in the game, that's why I might choose Cato instead to start in the 1st quarter and then bring Yao in so he can get major minutes and score.

The key to win is shut down Kobe Bryant. At least try to.

Yao will have his day against Shaq again. Look for Yao to take it to Shaq and finish strong and dunk over Shaq like he did to Ben Wallace.

The key for us is that Franchise's going to have big game. As well as Rice has to be one to shoot 3s.

    Score:
    110-79
    Rox wins

game goes into seven overtimes. we tie, 201-201, on moochie's banked three pointer at the buzzer. phoenix loses, meaning we take a 1 1/2 lead for the final playoff spot.

dude, all you had to say was 'maybe maybe no'. saying that would save you tons of time typing, and it would tell me the same thing you just said in the above post.

Chicago frustrated the hell out of Shaq when they guarded him with Curry and used Chandler to double team. 2 seven footers seemed to work well. Yao and Griffin should be able to do the same thing in theory. On defense keep on switching Posey and Cuttino on Kobe. That way both of them are fresh, it makes Kobe think, and we should stay out of foul trouble. Hopefully Rice has a big game against his former teams. If we are hitting our outside shots we should be able to win.

Yao will have a big game but the key factors for this game are Posey and Griffin, other than that they will have no problem winning the season series against the fakers. Might be a triple O/T game but we'll manage to win.

rockets blow out the lakers by 25 and we see the hawk and my boy boki in the last 2 minutes again. man that boki is a bad mutha, he shot 100% the other night.. sure it was 1 for 1 but its still 100%;)

ow and after the win shaq starts saying how we didnt beat them because they beat themselves again...... just like they beat themselves 4 times against the spurs.

start coming up with the excuses now shaq, cuz you are going to need them to keep your fans hopes up

After the Clips blowout Yao and Steve are both rested, hope the winning momentum carries through against the Lakers...... Lots of implications on this one, we win, we move closer to the lakers and have won the season series, which would be relevant if Lakers finishes tied for 8th.

Glen Rice should be the clincher on this one as Stevie and Kobe, Shaq and Yao would probably cancel each other out....

    Aren't all games 50/50?

Aren't you either going to win or lose?

lol true. As Barkley responded when asked "What's the most important thing you need to do next game?"

Barkley: "Score more points then they do!"

The Lakers always bring out the best in the Rockets and our game with them are really close. Fortunately, we are the better team and will beat the Lakers. Like someone said earlier, Steve has got to get a few guys involved, so they're contributing late. We gotta hit our outside shots or it's gonna be real hard to win. Key thing bout this game though is for the first 3 meetings, MoT wasn't playin that well late in the 4th. He's emerged this season now and will destroy whatever Faker PF attempts to guard him.

Probable OT, Rockets by 1-4 points
