IMO, he'll wait until tomorrow. 1) He'd get a bad rap for boxing out America's birthday. 2) Announcing the news on Friday means the LA media will likely have to wait until Monday (over a holiday weekend, no less) to release their hit pieces on him, by which time emotions should not be running as high. Yes, yes, I know, common sense. But hey, apparently some people don't even know what time zone Houston is in, so sometimes the obvious needs to be spelled out...
oh so idiot broussard is starting to give leeway to the rockets.. i don't want his hypocrite self choosing us..for some reason, he could be wrong...
Interesting how all the insiders stopped giving information once he could announce his decision at any time to prove them wrong. No one wants to say "Mavericks are in the lead" only for him to announce on twitter a few minutes later that he's going to the Lakers. It's a lot easier to post/ put information out on twitter when his decision isn't just about to happen. You can cover yourself with "things change."
I think people are drastically overstating the effect the 4th has on his announcement. This is a holiday where we celebrate who can eat the most hot dogs in the shortest amount of time and even televise this. Howard's decision leaking today will not be a slap in the face of America, come on.
I truly think that, if Dwight sees this gif, he cannot for one further second resist the pull of our Houston Rockets. We have a fun dancing bunch with hilarious fans. I mean, who spends time making something as awesome as that gif unless they are insane for their team and also psychotically hilarious?
Yeah I agree and I wrote that as point in my thread earlier, which i was totally bashed for haha. We are all real fans where every laker fan I have met is more of a bandwagon fan.
Sure, but why give your detractors more ammo? You know the amount of fake moral outrage from the media will be over the top.
