The "thread police" in most instances serve a purpose, they educate people on keeping discussions within existing threads....which is desirable....We wouldnt have to crack down on bad threads if folks would quit thinking their thoughts are so unique that they deserve their own threads. Really? Your post had everyone the warriors have on it, who are they gonna trade to the Lakers for Howard in your scenario? The Warriors do not have the cap space to sign him outright, and the salaries have to be within certain limits. If GS was gonna SnT Howard, one of Thompson or Barnes will be gone....and the Lakers arent inclined to take on luxury tax payments with no Howard and no chance to contend with Bogut on the roster.
Are you going to hold a gun to Mitch Kupchak's head? Because that's the only way any trade would happen that doesn't involve some of the players you listed (and probably not even then).
And who exactly are the Warriors trading away in your scenario?? One of Thompson or Barnes has to go, along with Bogut. And how the heck are they going to sign Jarrett Jack if they've got Dwight on the books??
