according to Ron Van Clief's post on FB, Jim Kelly has passed away. Damn this dude was one of the few guys I look up to when growing up as a kid. In memoriam, it's gonna be a Enter the Dragon night!!!

I used to watch his films regularly at the Majestic Metro downtown
in the early 80's. He was the black Bruce Lee of his time! It's sad
to hear of him passing away.

R.I.P. Mr. Jim "The Dragon" Kelly !!

Shane Battier kind of resembles him.

If Shane grows a fro he could be Black Belt Jones. Maybe that should be his new nickname. Shane "Black Belt Jones" Battier.

Hollywood regrets not giving Jim Kelly starring roles in motion pictures, I mean so much potential could be had? If Chuck Norris could have given this dude 6 of his starring vehicles, Chuck would still have his legacy and Jim Kelly a major star in Hollywood. No disrespect to Chuck Norris but I'd much prefer to see Jim Kelly be the next big action star right after the death of Bruce Lee. It's a damn shame Kelly didn't get his dues man.
