Beverley had half a season in the NBA, and still has a lot to work on, including initiating the offense and playmaking etc.

    Glad he will be there.

But we know already he will be solid.

Hope to see more time given to Canaan. I think he can light up the summer league.

Beverly is dfferent from Parsons. Parsons started most of his rookie season, while Beverly played half games in half the minutes(per game) as backup at older age(than Parson's rookie year).

Also one is taller and the other is black... Not to be snarky, but of course there are differences. But Beverley, like Parsons, earned a spot in the rotation and in the future of the team, which is the usual primary goal of players playing in Summer League. The Rockets are not trying to evaluate to see if Bev should be in their future plans -- just like with Parsons, they are sold, they love him, he is here to stay.

No, I think he is in the Summer League as a leader representing the organization to the other less established players who will be participating for the Rockets. He's there to work on stuff too...sure. All players his age need to work on stuff. But he is not showcasing his talents like the other guys or tying to prove himself to the Rockets or earn a spot in the league like every single other player the Rockets will be sending -- he has already accomplished those goals...just as Parsons had going into last seasons summer league.

Oh, that Murray. At first I thought you meant our GM, Deryle, was going to be suiting up. HA!
