Honeycutt is a guy we cut last year and played a little for the vipers. We are actually paying him 100,000 dollars this season

We Honey Cutt Tyler last year, Toure Murray is Daryl's brother in law, Casper is not really all that white and Vander is really not all that blue.

That's my analysis. Hope it helps.

Vander Blue was near the top of the class when he was being recruited from HS.

He should have stayed in school, but on the court, he looks the part.

Toure Murry (no "a") and Honeycutt were on the RGV squad last year.

I want this guy on our summer league team but he's gonna play with the Miami Heat.

Rockets told Royce to drive his Winnebago to Las Vegas to meet them for their summer league games. :p

The fact that the Rockets didn't even both to assign Royce to the Summer League team (despite whether he would show up or not) if VERY telling here. Royce White obviously will not be a Houston Rocket very much longer...

I am a little surprised to see Patrick "my old friend' Beverley in the summer league -- I thought he had done enough to sort of be on another level in his standing with the team. He probably will be there in the same role Chandler was last Summer League -- play a little, provide leadership, set a good example.

Assuming the Rockets actually expect all those players to play in the Summer League, then it looks like we may have found a taker for Royce. A lot of those players are the ones people have talked about the Rockets maybe needing to cut in order to have the room for Howard.

I am very very interested to see what we will have to give up to get someone else to absorb White's contract. Perhaps that's the delay: while Morey was willing to do the TRob trade without an assurance Howard was coming, he does not want to pay the cost of getting rid of Royce until he knows it is absolutely necessary -- but hopefully he has it all lined up and is waiting to pull the trigger.

Man, I would really like to know if that is the case and what sort of deal it might be.
