Lin has no worries. He is guaranteed to make 24-25 million for his current contract and made 1.5 million for his previous contract. He will make roughly 20 million more on endorsement deals. He is set for life since he doesn't like to spent and live like NBA big spenders. He has his faith, family and friends and he plays basketball for a living. His legacy is secure as the first Asian American NBA player who played meaningful minutes and had a real career even if he retires after his current contract.

Agree, all he wants is to play basketball so if he's traded he'll still get to play. I'm sure he and Asik don't want to keep moving to new teams, but it's just how things works unfortunately.

If you want to see people climb over the back of people in sports, watch this youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BAaCBC1V1Q Then you'll realize when your back is turned and somebody jumps into you and over you, it really is nothing. Some of those marks make Parsons' nut-hugging put-back dunk on Blake Griffin look like child's play. In fact, send Omer Asik to Australia for half a season of Aussie Rules training, and he'll come back with Greg Smith hands. The greatest sport most people know nothing about - Aussie Rules.
It's an Australian-style football game/competition. Quite rough, players very athletic, non-stop, pretty exciting game.
To me, it's a more exiting game than soccer, and easily American Football. In some ways it's more like basketball. Non-stop up and down (the field), high-scoring. Those interested can try to find a full game on YouTube. It's pretty exciting stuff.
He's thinking "I'm multi-millionaire Jeremy effin Lin, let's tap some biches and hit the strip clubs".
i agree, i really think this coming year he will do much better just for the fact last year was his first season as a starter so now he knows what to work on over the summer and what to expect in the coming year.
Interesting thread. I like how folks seem to rationally agree/disagree without mindlessly ripping players.
